SPIRITUAL DESPAIR OVER INFINITE, INDEFINITE SPACE

“Either I solve the riddle of life, or I stay here–stuck–and die. Because without solving that riddle–and solving it right now!–I can’t take another step. I have nothing to walk on. No road to begin my journey. I must solve the destination of my life so I can begin to move towards it. I know I’ve all the energy in me required to make the trip. Even if it’s a billion miles towards the Truth, I’ve the energy to reach it. I’m bursting with vigor, but I don’t know where to go. Every direction is an east, but without a west to give it meaning. I’m eager to start, but nobody’s saying ‘Go.’”
